Or was, before the Fort Worth Star-Telegram ran a picture of Walls (thoughtfully provided by a Republican foe), looking sharp in a woman's wig, dress and heels. Walls, 64, who describes himself as a fervent Baptist, said he was dealing with his predilection for cross-dressing and had asked his family for forgiveness. He won't pull out of the race, despite mounting pressure to do so, saying he refuses to yield to blackmail. So the guy took the phrase "Grand Old Party" literally. So what? � |
