Gene Kelly in AN�AMERICAN IN�PARIS LONDON (Reuters) - Police marksmen have killed a bull that ran amok in an antiques store in northwest England after it escaped from a nearby animal auction. A Lancashire police spokesman said on Tuesday the bull injured a woman and then charged into G and B Antiques and Furnishings in Lancaster, where it destroyed several valuable pieces. "After speaking with the bull's owner it was decided the bull posed a risk to public safety and it was unwise for attempts to be made to capture the animal...A decision was made that the bull should be destroyed," the spokesman said. Police said the surrounding area was cordoned off and the bull was trapped in the store before it was shot and killed by firearms officers on Monday. �
